Spencers Helps Flood Victims
The great floods of last July have had a great affect on Spencers Builders, our village of Ashleworth lies on the banks of the River Severn and many adjoining villages have been totally submerged in water. Not only have many of our friends and family been affected, but also existing clients and now we have struck up many new relationships with people who are in need of our expertise.
The first project we are undertaking to repair flood damage, is at the Boat Inn in Ashleworth. This idyllic pub set on the banks of the River Severn suffered from 4ft 6in of water and requires a total overhaul internally with some external work to be done. Unfortunately it is not only the speed of our work that will affect the progress of this project, but also the rate at which moisture in the walls dries out
The Boat Inn has already suffered from lack off business for several weeks, as regular customers we are therefore keen to get it up and running as soon as possible!
